You must have visited airports, they have all sorts of shops, different forms of art and sculptures, catchy advertisements and much more. While it is uncommon that there are posters or various ways in which public awareness about recent global changes or policies are made. This was the only place where I saw a whole wall is allocated for Public Awareness on Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations at Zurich Airport in Switzerland.

This very thing left me in awe that there is a certain level of concern and importance of raising awareness amongst people. Since here WE are building a community and working towards raising awareness about various things, let us first understand what sustainable development is and what these goals are.
Sustainable development means the developments which meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, in short, using our resources wisely and making developments for our own better future.
Sustainable development goals is a list of 17 goals which are aimed to be achieved by 2030 in all the countries. These require actions by countries working hand in hand to strategically implement these in the countries to achieve these goals. We know that each country is made by its citizens, thus we have the responsibility towards helping in achieving these goals as well.
Here is the list of 17 goals, and in my future posts we shall together brainstorm as to which measures, WE can take individually, as even a single step taken by us can go a long way ahead in future and we cannot even measure the impact it can bring in our lives.
